Advanced Living was incorporated with the specific intention of developing residential property for the active elderly age group.
The concept is to deliver 21st century solutions to the housing needs of all tenures for local communities providing modern living environments and technology within the context of relatively high-density housing areas to release family homes.
Our Principles and Values
The principles and values the Company has adopted are:
- Delivering safe, secure and dynamic environments and services with quality at the heart of everything we do
- Honesty, integrity and transparency in all of our dealings
- Adopting and maintaining the principles of Investors in People and supported team working
- Ensuring an environmentally friendly and sustainable business
- Taking pride in what we do, having fun doing it and wanting our clients and customers to enjoy the same experience
Why Are We Different?
We deliver a holistic approach to the lifetime of a development and will actively manage it post occupation. We understand the changing needs of this growing sector and have a modern approach to it. We understand, for example, the need for connectivity and the ability to source and implement relevant applications in the home.
Thus we will provide a single point of responsibility and contact throughout the planning, development and operational cycles.
The business recognises the importance of recruiting the right people for the right roles. We will recruit to undertake the majority of operational functions internally rather than outsourcing and adopt the Investors in People principles to support the Company’s employment strategy.
We recognise the importance of being able to source the right support and team to deliver the objective and therefore we have arrangements for the following specialist teams to provide that support:
Savills – strategic, operational and development advice with arguably the strongest specialist team in the sector
Grant Thornton – financial, tax and accounting advice with an experienced team retained by institutional clients in the retirement development sector
Marchese Partners – Architects with significant experience of delivering design solutions to the senior living market especially in Australia and New Zealand
